There's a much much better video to accompany this thrilling song. I mean the one that shows the passenger jet flying away above the chain link fence. It's the original one. It was missing for a long time, and I day dreamed about that plane and the fence. I can always jump on a plane but that video is so powerful-- that that simple image alongside the song was too moving, truly.

This was the first song I can remember listening that opened another world to me. I still love the all the US/UK pop and rock, but this song introduced me to sounds, rhythms and harmonies that I had no idea existed. It's one of those comfort songs that just gives me a few moments of joy every time I hear it.

Johnny Clegg plsyed this song Dec 1984 when Pirates faced Kaizer Chiefs in Mainstay Cup final in packed Ellis Park Stadium on a very hot Saturday......I remember supporters bare chested and dancing to this song it was like 15mins before kick off....Abdul Bamjee was NPSL PRO then and would make stadium very enjoyable and fulfilling....29/5/2024

The first time I heard about Juluka, I stood in awe over this umlungu, singing in isiZulu

I was introduced to this music and fell in love with it early 80s I think 1982 by my uncle who is no longer with us since 2021 a true gentleman very bright and smart ...he use to work in JHB and comes every December with LP's (Long Player Records) with this kind of music including Bob Marley, Peter Tosh ....May His Soul RIP...He was a staunch supporter (Card carrying) of Kaizer Chiefs...Note made on 29/5/2024
